About Dr. Carly Geller
Dr. Geller is a clinical psychologist, licensed in New York. She specializes in the treatment of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and anxiety-related conditions including social anxiety, health anxiety, panic disorder, trichotillomania, and intrusive worry. Depression, emotion regulation difficulties, interpersonal conflict, school pressures, and perfectionism are also among her areas of focus.
Dr. Geller uses evidence-based interventions including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), exposure and response prevention (ERP), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based techniques. She believes in goal-oriented therapy, and works to provide her patients with concrete practical skills that they can apply to everyday situations. Her approach to treatment is warm and collaborative.
Dr. Geller earned her B.A. in psychology from the University of Michigan and her doctorate from Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology at Yeshiva University, where she currently serves as Adjunct Clinical Supervisor. She completed her pre-doctoral internship at Northwell Health's OCD Center and her post-doctoral fellowship at Manhattan Center for CBT. A certified Diplomate of the Academy of Cognitive and Behavioral Therapies (A-CBT), Dr. Geller is passionate about providing evidence-based care.
